monstrARTity is a not-for-profit that produces one of the largest South Asian festivals in Canada. They give back to the community by providing interactive South Asian arts workshops for youths and seniors along with a mentorship program for local artists.

the challenge

Teachers that booked the South Asian arts workshops raved about them! But lately their email strategy was losing traction with teachers and monstrARTity was looking for a way to ramp up their workshop bookings.

the solution

We conducted interviews with 10-teachers to better understand their current struggles. They felt disheartened, overwhelmed and burned ever since Covid-19. So we pivoted from a product-led email strategy to one where we empowered teachers by reminding them how invaluable their contribution was to their students and the future of humanity. This strategic shift led to a 117% increase in their email click-open rate.
